3 Months Prior To the Wedding Date
After your initial consultation you will have an estimate of what your floral work will cost for your wedding. This is a starting point. Depending on how early you have decided to reserve your date we won’t get together again until Three months prior to your Wedding Date usually. We will contact you to set up this appointment at your convenience. At this point you will have a much clearer vision of what you want and need. During this next meeting we can subtract and add anything you have changed your mind about or realized you want to have. We can create a mock-up of what a reception table might look like or have some of the flowers you have requested on hand so you can get a good visualization of your Wedding Day. We then create a final invoice for flowers that we will use to base our wholesale orders on. 25% of total is due at this time.
3 Weeks Prior To the Wedding Date
Its almost here! At this point we will contact you again for the final time before your wedding date. We call to confirm all the choices and counts on the final order we created at the last meeting. Usually nothing will have to be changed, but if so we will need to know by this date. This is also the date in which the balance of your order is due. The reason we require full payment and confirm all information on the order at this time is because we place our orders with our wholesalers now. To ensure the flower varieties and quality are available for your wedding we need to place the orders at this time. Placing orders any later could result in not getting the type or quality of flowers you want. Of course if you need to add anything to the order after this time we make every effort to accommodate those requests and work closely with our wholesalers to add to an existing order or find the flowers we need more locally. But subtractions after this point will not be refunded, in effect we cannot “return” our flowers to the growers, we will however be happy to repurpose that cancelled bridesmaid bouquet into another arrangement for your reception!
